We have a special confirmation process. Teens are eligible for confirmation in the year that they turn 16 or older.
In 2015 there were only a small number of teens who were of confirmation age and so we waited until 2016 when there were 18 young people from Emmanuel and Grace and another 8 from St Francis who joined us for the final sessions and the camp.
The process started just after Easter with a series of lessons being taught on Sunday mornings. The teens were engaged in relevant topical Bible-based lessons which were followed up with Q&A sessions on Sunday afternoons and a sleepover at the church where lively discussions and interactions were held. The confirmation service was on 18 September 2016 and was a very special event. From the Grace congregation Chris, Alex, Charne and Conor.
